It never would set it off unless I started one of those games. I would see normal temps at around 25c to 40c depending on what I was doing. I noticed the processor temp was around 58c, that's when I ordered the Evo Plus for the comp. Diablo 3 would do it, Tera just being on the character screen did it. It only happened if I tried to play certain games. So I figured that was why I kept getting the long frequency alarm that is constant, not divided up in several beeps, just one long beep. At first I felt that I should have known not to use a stock Processor fan and heat sink. I do some online gaming, Diablo 3, Tera, etc. Anyway, to get to the question here, I'm running CPUID and watching my computer's temps. It was time, I guess after almost 8 years, that's a pretty good run for a system. My old system was a Core2Duo from Intel and it was going bad on me, not sure what went out but I replaced it with this one. I do run a 27" Samsung LED Monitor and 1920x1080 and never had a problem before. Now I do have a few other Hard Drives, they're WD 10,000 Raptors, aside from the DVD Drive and all that, it's pretty much all I'm running. RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws (2133) 4 x 4GB ( 16GB ) I just finished adding the last components to the system I build off of the MSI 970 Gaming Motherboard.
